Cooked apples with chia pudding


Chia pudding works great for breakfast. Prepared with any plant based drink, fruits and nuts is a healthy start of a new day. Always prepare mix of Chia seeds and plant drink a day before. Fruits and nuts sometimes are prepared day before as well, sometimes just before breakfast.

This time, I had apples, local ones, from around Bodensee. I cooked diced apples with a little of ghee, with cinnamon and bourbon vanilla. It’s  very interesting, winter match, cold pudding with hot, slightly caramelised apples with rich taste of spices.


  • 3 tee spoons of Chia seeds
  • 1/2 glass jar of plant based drink
  • 1 big apple
  • spices 🙂


Mix Chia seeds, plant based drink together in a small glas jar. Let it set in refrigerator overnight.

Next day, prepare apples. Diced apples I put to the pot with two small spoons of ghee and spices. Cook until slightly brown but not completely soft.

Remove Chia pudding fromthe fridge, top with hot apples.


Hot, aromatic breakfast, big, warm sweater and seasonal scent – that is a perfect start of winter morning :).
